Overtime: Men at Work

A look at capitalism, the American dream, and gender roles in the corporate sphere, “Overtime: Men at Work” was a quirky, soulful, labor of love. The piece was workshopped and devised with artists at SUNY Schenectady College and performed at Proctor’s Underground Theatre.

HEADSHOT! at Millikin University

Here, the HEADSHOT! Project took on a new metamorphosis as we developed entirely new sects of characters as well as multiple musical numbers to add new dimension to the production. I served as Assistant Director for this iteration, and was able to offer a unique perspective and insight to the actors in rehearsal, having originated and performed variations of some of the show’s material.

The HEADSHOT! Project had multiple iterations here and abroad in Barcelona, Spain. I have engaged in its creation and development as both an Actor/Deviser and Assistant Director. This iteration featured both American and Catalan Company Members and guest artists, and was performed at NACL in Highland Lake, NY as part of their Deep Space program.

INSULA was created and mounted through a residency at Montclair State University. I was thrilled to work alongside the ever brilliant Kari Margolis as her Assistant Director, and worked closely with her conceptually and in rehearsals. The show was selected to be performed at KCACTF Region 2 Festival in 2013. It was presented with multiple awards:
-Distinguished Production of Devised Work
-Distinguished Achievement by Performance and Production Ensemble
-Distinguished Lead Deviser/Director of Devised Work (Kari Margolis)
-Distinguished Achievement in Sound Design (Tony Brown)
